About Me | Why I’m really Blogging

As a new mom I’m more confident than ever before. Motherhood has changed me in ways I could not imagine or even explain. My journey as a mother and a wife has helped me grow into the person I believe I’m supposed to be.

I’ve always loved being creative and crafty. I find myself always answering questions about where I shop or get my products. This is a space I’ve created to share those thoughts and products that make my life easy! I hope my ideas and tips are helpful and bring those who come to my space happy. I have so much more to share and want this to be a space that feels like home. I want people to be able to relate to the things I share. We all have qualities about ourselves that we may not find relatable but if we don’t share them we’ll never know. My biggest inspirations are home decor, warm hearty recipes, aesthetically pleasing content, motherhood and so much more.

I’ve always known that I would end up blogging I just never truly had the courage to finally share what I love, and enjoy. This blog is from 2017. I’m passionate about the things I share because they are near and dear to my heart. I’ve always wanted to help others but was never sure how until now. All of my experiences in life have shaped me up until this point and I’ve turned those strengths into ways that I could let others into my life. I know that with sharing so much of myself I open myself up to critique and I’m perfectly okay with that.

I love who I’m becoming as a person, a mother, a friend, a daughter, and sister. If I’ve ever made a connection with anyone it’s one with purpose. People have always called me the “mom” of every environment I’ve been in. I never understood it until now. The things I do and engage in, I like to pour my heart into. I’ve met some of the best people in recent years. I’ve made mistakes but none that haven’t helped develop my growth. To some I come off very direct, but it’s always been because I have such a protective heart and energy about myself that I want to nurture everything that comes near me. I’m learning to channel that energy into a more positive light than before. I attribute a lot of that to my husband. He’s such a gentle, kind, loving person. If you know him, you know he truly brings out the best in me.

I am finally comfortable with who I am enough to be secure in hearing opinions and not letting them shift my perception of myself. My new motto is “I believe you believe that.” Confidence is something I’ve worked so hard on and I hope through my posts, other moms, women, and anyone find the space to be themselves fully and authentically. Sharing your life is not about boasting but about inspiring others to do what makes them happy. Especially my daughter Maci Grace. I want her to look back at her childhood and feel so full of love, and beautiful memories.

If you made it this far,

Thank you. I appreciate you.
