HOMEMADE cheez-it

This is a fun recipe. I used a baking cutter to mark the 1-inch idents and used a pizza cutter to slice across to form the squares. You can use any tools that you have at home.

honey butter rolls

My kids and husband ate the entire bath in 2 days! A new staple in our home, and I have always loved making fresh rolls but this boney buytter blend is amazing. Keep in mind that the cuts and 12x12 square size before you cut them into 6 strips do not have to be a perfect shape. Similar, but not completely identical. I made these while my toddlers insisted on sitting on the counter to watch. As overstimulating as this can be, I still made a great batch of rolls! My middle child even pierced holes in 5 rolls before I had to salvage them pre bake. Its easy to mould these and work with this recipe.

Fried Chicken Sandwich

This recipe is super simple and easy for beginners. I had fun making my own sauce and playing with the different spices. I normally just add flavor by smelling or tasting but you obviously can't do that with the dry or raw mix. This is a general estimate of measurements that I used. I prefer cooking with less oil, hence not fully deep frying my chicken. If you're comfortable fully deep frying or even air frying that's an option too. The main concern when double breading is to NOT let the chicken sit in the flour for too long or it'll absorb it and get too clumpy to fry correctly. The last thing you want is flour-starchy-powdery chicken. You can also glaze it with some butter once it's done for better taste.

ube mochi

For this recipe, you’ll need a 9x13 pan and parchment paper liner. Make sure your eggs and butter are room-temp before mixing them in. The consistency should be firm, and a fork test will tell you if its baked thoroughly. Don’t worry about the top browning a bit. Let the mochi cool down before cutting through it.

UPDATED PUMPKIN CHEESECAKE RECIPE

This is my refined recipe after learning and practicing for the past 3 years. You’ll need a large pan for the water bath that can fit a 9 inch round spring form pan and be deep enough to hold 1 inch of boiled hot water. If you prefer vegan you can substitute the eggs and cream cheese  for your preferred vegan options!

IT'S AMORÉ CRUST

This is a fun easy recipe, I always recommend using bread flour instead of regular for better results. I purchased pizza pans from Amazon and that made it so much easier and cooler! You can just use a regular baking pan if you don’t have any round ones. Using non stick spray on the pan before I set the dough down helps a lot! Let the pizza cool down before you cut the slices.

Hope you enjoy this recipe!

BLW BAKED SWEET POTATO FRIES

I chose this recipe because it is my baby’s favorite and mine as well. So easy to make and she loves it so much while she is still learning to chew better. She has 6 teeth and BLW was a slow start for us since she was fighting teething inflammation. Turmeric is great and anti-inflammatory it has helped Maci tremendously! Seasonings are optional you can start off with just a little bit of salt or none. Maci enjoyed the extra sweetness the cinnamon added, keep in mind cinnamon can just sometimes be a topical skin irritant. I clean maci’s face/neck off with a wipe or wherever she left some food!

BEST CARNE ASADA MARINADE

I love this recipe. If you want to get really fancy you can add Himalayan salt once you serve your dish! I usually make this with Spanish rice and some homemade salsa or guacamole.

Enjoy!

SPANISH RICE RECIPE

This recipe honestly took me YEARS to perfect. So if you are reading this, you’re probably tired of the hit or miss too. It seems more complex than it is. Trial and error for sure.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

• 9 IN. Sauce pan or large wide sauce pan should work. Feel free to send me photos of your pan if you’re unsure.

• Oregano and cumin should be a small dash, NO MORE THAN A TEASPOON. Sorry I’m not yelling.

• You don’t need fresh tomatoes for this recipe. An 8 oz can of tomato paste of whatever brand you want will do it.

•Chicken Bouillon is healthier if you use the chicken base instead of the powder. Some people make their water base chicken broth instead but that’s honestly not necessary. Stick to the 2 TBSP of Bouillon.

• When you brown your rice, you’re not browning the entire thing just let a few grains turn brown and move on to the paste.

MAKE SURE: that you turn off the heat for the tomato paste step.

High heat for the water mixture, don’t forget onion and ground pepper.

•Let it cook on its own on low heat WITH the lid on. WARNING: do not take off the lid. Don’t do it. Wait at least 20-25 mins then turn off the heat to let the rice rest for ANOTHER 10-15 mins. Then it’s officially safe to open your lid away from the pan. Don’t let that lid moisture get into your pan. Remove it quickly and fluff that rice. However I personally still let it sit another 5 mins after I fluff. Then serve!

All done. Enjoy your Spanish rice. :’)

If you want to only make 1 cup, everything stays the same except the water, rice, and bouillon.

1 CUP RICE, 2 CUPS WATER, 1TBSP BOUILLON

MAGNIFIQUE BRAISED BEEF

I hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as I do.
Back story: When I worked at Netflix DVD we got to order-in for lunch on our 8 hour days. There it was, on the menu— mouth-watering braised beef. Ever since then it became one of my favorite dishes. I wanted to start cooking delicious fun meals at home for myself and my husband. The look on his face when he first tried it made me SO happy. I only wish my grandma was still here to have a taste of my cooking. She was my inspiration for everything. The way she tasted her food as she went to make sure it was good. The way she hovered over the sink washing rice or beans was my favorite.
Please feel free to comment any questions about the recipe! It seems more complex than it is. It’s worth every drop I promise! This recipe is easy to alter. It serves a full family. You can reduce the veggies and short rib and keep the same gravy ingredients.
