stretchy slime

This slime recipe is great and so easy to work with. It's hard to mess up and your kids can make it themselves. I help with the dye and saline because there's more room for "oopsies" there. Pouring the glue, measuring the baking soda, and stirring it can be a fun way to engage with toddlers. To get your desired color start with one drop or less for lighter tones. If you want something bright and strong go for 2+ drops.

I like to use disposable chopsticks to sprinkle some extra fun for the kiddos. They stir in the baking soda with them and the color once I splash it in for them. If you want to add in glitter or sprinkles that can add some texture and fun to the recipe but do that before you add in the saline solution so it can be thoroughly combined before it forms the final texture of slime consistency.
